2023 Scholarships!

Here at Your Better Four, we really want students to feel equipped to make the most of their high school and transition to college experience(s). Part of that is doing our best to provide resources that can help you along the way. That being said, we know that college can be expensive, making scholarships important to many. Below are the names, descriptions, and links of different scholarships for high school and college students. Best of luck!


PERFORMING/VISUAL ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS


  • Eligibility: Black/African American High school seniors or current undergraduate pursuing degrees in performing arts (e.g. drama, music, opera)

  • Deadline: April 14, 2023

  • Amount: $5,000


  • Eligibility: Black/African American High school seniors or current undergraduate pursuing degrees in visual arts (e.g. fashion, drawing, graphic design)

  • Amount: $5,000


STUDENTS IN STEM/HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIPS


  • Eligibility: Undergraduate student from disadvantaged background committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research

  • Deadline: April 3, 20323

  • Amount: Up to $20,000 per academic year


  • Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate student actively enrolled in an accredited nurse education program

  • Deadline: April 15, 2023

  • Amount: $3000


  • Eligibility: undergraduate or graduate students planning to pursue a degree with a focus on cybersecurity, information assurance, or a similar field; Black/African American

  • Deadline: April 17, 2023

  • Award: $10,000


  • Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate student attending a university, two-year college or a vocational tech school; enrolled in public health or a related field; American Indian/Alaska Native

  • Deadline: May 31, 2023

  • Amount: Varies
